Lucid dreaming is not a health condition, but is commonly found among people who wish to have something in their life and wait to seek it. It is a dream that a person sees consciously which means with open eyes, but deeply in dream or thought process. This may not be escorted by active control of dream, but it can be fleeting as the dream completely takes the person’s focus. Even the person will be completely aware of his awakening, but the memories will take him to memories within the dream. This problem has its association with psychology where experts say that this type of dreaming helps patients dismantling their recurring nightmares. When you watch such dream consciously this lets you know that it was just a dream (nightmare) and help you regain normalcy. This can bring some positive results like overcoming phobias and practicing for forthcoming events that a person wants to achieve. This type of dreaming is also used in ending an unhealthy relationship or turning the mind fresh for achieving new success towards career or life.
The concept begins with creating desires for attaining something in life. This is what stimulates the person to go into dreaming in day time or while awake. Though this type of dreaming is used to overcome various things, but it does not always bring success. However, it can only be a useful tool for psychological development. Lucid dreaming techniques can be well understood under the guidance of an expert. Whatever be the consequences, Lucid Dreaming is not taken seriously by scientific community until groundbreaking research was undertaken in 1981.
When the person is in dream state, the body muscles get paralyzed for self protection. This is why the signaling becomes problematic from a lucid dream. On the other hand, when it comes to the muscles that control the eyes always remain unrestricted. In research, it has also been found that eyes often mimic the movements that lucid dream eyes do. In a night, most of the people have experienced four to five lucid dream periods by rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. They are called as lucid dreaming stories that keep coming in different periods while sleeping. The first period may not last longer than a few minutes, but the next REM periods extend throughout the night. The later periods last for 45 minutes or more, bringing the early morning dream.
For any experiments, one should study what is lucid dreaming because then the actual output can be gained by the person in life.
